Once again, the team at Spatialest had the opportunity to visit another remarkable city whilst attending the annual IAAO conference.

Due to COVID restrictions, we were unclear what to expect but Chicago did not let us down. From the beautiful weather, an amazing skyline, and fabulous people, we had very a memorable experience.

We had plenty of visitors to our stand who were interested in our solutions and of course, our raffle prize of Bushmills Irish Whiskey sparked a lot of interest too.
We were also grateful to be able to present to a room full of Assessment Industry professionals on the topic of Transparency as part of the valuation process. It was great to speak to so many talented people and to listen to their experiences.

It was fantastic to catch up with friends that we have not seen for over 18 months and to find them all well. We even managed to get one of them out on the golf course.

Ken Joyner, Property Assessor from Mecklenburg County NC joined our four ball and helped us reach second place in the competition. Not wanting to brag, but a gross score of 63 is pretty good for us amateurs!

Like I said, we had an extremely memorable trip and a big thank you to the IAAO for a well organized and brilliantly executed conference. We look forward to Boston in 2022.
